Surrey City Centre is proud to be a strong supporter of the performing and visual arts. In 2008, Surrey was designated a cultural capital of Canada and continues to showcase its cultural diversity through award-winning exhibitions of fine art.
Surrey is home to the largest public school district in British Columbia. Surrey City Centre boasts 21 public elementary and secondary schools, with 19 options in the region for higher learning, including Douglas College, Kwantlen University College and the prestigious Simon Fraser University.
Surrey City Centre’s abundance of parks and recreation keep our community members both healthy and creative! Surrey has worked hard to create a City Centre with an abundance of green parks, walkways and bike paths.
